Welcome to the Sacred Heart High School Parents, Teachers and Friends Association.
It’s my pleasure to welcome you to the PTFA website, where you can find out more about how to engage with other parents, teachers at the school and their friends on a regular basis AND raise important funds for the school.
We’ll be adding content to this website as the term unfolds including an overview of how the school has used money that the PTFA has raised in recent years for the benefit of all girls at Sacred Heart.
The PTFA meet on the first Tuesday of each month during term time from 7-8pm at the school (via the Bute Gardens entrance).
If you are unable to attend meetings but would like to help please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
The PTFA is run by volunteers. And of course, all volunteers have active lives outside the school so their time is limited. But as parents of girls who are benefiting from a great experience at Sacred Heart, we are happy to commit time to support raising money for the school. As you all know, we are still living through difficult economic times and the UK Government continues to put severe restrictions on school budgets.
We would love to hear from you if you would like to become more involved in the PTFA, both to provide funds to support better resources for all the girls and to support a vibrant school community. Anything from joining our committee to responding to a plea for an hour’s volunteering. Every contribution is welcomed.
We look forward to seeing you at one of our events.
EVERY PENNY MATTERS
Every single penny of the money we raise at the PTFA goes towards providing resources to the school that otherwise they would not be able to afford. Over the last few years, the PTFA has given over £100,000 to the school. Most recently your donations have helped with decorating of the new Science Block, including inspirational quotes to help our daughters with their motivation!
