We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of the wider school community. As a state school, our funds are limited and so it is up to Parents to provide support by volunteering their time and, if they can, by making a donation to our school.
Sacred Heart is always seeking ways to improve the school campus and as such, an evolving plan is in place to enhance existing facilities. Most recently, the refurbishment of the DT classrooms is well underway and the re-tiling Chapel floor is a major improvement on what was there before.
Unfortunately, at a time when space is most critical, the redevelopment of Bute Hall, our new sixth form centre remains in the planning stages. However we have been assured that this process will conclude before too long and we will of course keep you updated.
Going forward, the redevelopment of the 'old gym' into an Arts Centre or 'SPACE' will create new facilities for Drama and Music, including rehearsal space and a recital hall, whilst retaining an atrium for students to enjoy at break times. This will enable further expansion of the opportunities in Music and the arts, as well as providing an extra assembly space for our developing lecture programme.
Without the committed support of Parents and the PTFA, these projects would simply not be possible.
Thank you once again for supporting our school.
